Root Chakra (earth)

by | Jan 4, 2021 | Chakra Clearing | 0 comments

We will go through the Root Chakra (Muladhara) located at the base of the spine and our foundation for life. The root chakra is red and has a frequency of 396 Hz. This is a low and smooth frequency that helps cleanse feelings of guilt, fear and trauma. The root chakra provides us with a base foundation and helps us feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. The root Chakra connects us with mother earth, giving us a place for our life to take root and for the flow of energies to propel us forward on our life journey. When these energies are stuck, stagnant, imbalanced or blocked our vitality and zest for life are also compromised. Chakras can both become over and under active which cause an unbalanced flow of energy causing issues. So first I will go through signs your Root chakra is balanced and in harmony. Signs of a balanced root chakra – satisfied with life, overall sense of wellbeing, feeling safe and secure, prosperity, job or career satisfaction, intestinal regularity, abundant energy, feel grounded and centered, able to let go with ease, physically fit and strong, appropriate body weight, feel present and in tune with nature. Signs that you have an imbalanced root chakra can vary but I will go through most of them.

The root chakra is blocked by fear and various forms of trauma. This is because it’s based on your basic need to survive, which may feel threatened, poor focus, can’t settle, chronic disorganization. Unbalance may stem from birth trauma, abandonment, unstable home, parents survival fears, poor bonding with mother. Symptoms of an out of balanced root chakra include bladder problems, constipation, diarrhea, lower back pain, eating disorders, kidney stones, weakness or problems with legs, feet, rectum, tailbone and immune system. Also issues with male reproduction parts and prostate gland, degenerative arthritis, knee pain, sciatica, stress about financial security and money, reckless behaviour, hoarding, bone and skeletal disorders, spinal issues, impatience, greediness, obsession with materialistic things, sluggishness, inflation and cramping. There is a wide variety of health problems that can arise from and out of balanced root chakra.

Now I will go through some things you can do to bring your root chakra back into balance. See red, envision the colour red glowing brightly at the base of the spine where the root chakra is located. Use essential oils, aroma therapy, grounding, earthy scents such as frankincense, cedar wood and patchouli to bring balance back to the root chakra. Eating bright red whole foods like raspberries, beets, cherries, strawberries, tomatoes. Utilizing red crystals like garnets and rubies can also work to help align the root chakra. There are many more crystals that support the root chakra. Some of them include jasper, Red jasper, smoky quartz, hematite, cuprite, tourmaline, garnet and bloodstone. In general red stones and crystals are associated with the root chakra. Walking barefoot on grass, gardening, exercise, yoga, dancing, swimming, taking a shower, walks in nature, root chakra or chakra balancing meditation, massage, gratitude, and energy work which I perform. You can also use toning working with your chakras. The mantra to use when toning your root chakra is (LAM) which works well while doing a root chakra meditation. As you can see the balance of each chakra plays a huge role in our wellbeing. As I continue through the chakras it will help you identify some things you can do to balance and harmonize your energy centres on your own. Your intention when doing this work will go a long way to help you. With your own participation and the help of energy work you will take full control of your wellbeing.

As always you are Magnificient!!!!!
